Super Bowl Best Betting Sites

There are many high-profile events throughout 2026, in a year dripping with sporting highlights. For many, all roads lead to North America in June – you simply can’t beat a World Cup summer.

While the battle for the famous trophy will generate the most global appeal, if razzmatazz is the measure, events in Santa Clara on Sunday, 8 February, may take top billing. That’s right, it’s Super Bowl time once again. Bad Bunny will be in the building for the eagerly anticipated half-time show, which is sure to dominate social media in the days following the game.

Putting the Puerto Rican beats to one side, here we focus on the action on the field, as the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks do battle to win it all. Using information presented by NewBettingSites.uk, we pick out a selection of rewarding welcome offers ahead of the big game and outline where our cash is going ahead of this not-to-be-missed matchup.

The Super Bowl kicks off at 11:30pm UK time on Sunday, 8 February. This year’s game takes place at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. For those opting for the sofa rather than a flight to Santa Clara, Super Bowl LX will be screened live by Sky Sports and 5, while DAZN are offering the full US experience, complete with the much-hyped US advertisements.

Super Bowl LX: The Matchup No One Expected

When the 32 sides of the NFL set out on the road to Super Bowl LX, few predicted that the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks would be the last teams standing – unless, of course, you believe in the latest conspiracy theories doing the rounds.

It probably shouldn't be a complete surprise to see the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. After all, they have appeared in the big game more times than any other franchise. However, their 12th appearance wasn’t expected to come at the end of the 2025 season. In Drake Maye, the Patriots had one of the hottest young quarterbacks in the game, but they ended 2024 with a dismal 4-13 record. Tasked with improving results, new head coach Mike Vrabel has surpassed all expectations in leading the Patriots to a 14-3 regular season finish. Drake Maye, meanwhile, has emerged as a genuine superstar and may end the year as the NFL MVP.

Having ended the 2024 season with a 10-7 record, Seattle only narrowly missed the playoffs. However, they went into the new campaign with new men in key positions – most notably Sam Darnold at quarterback. A first-round draft pick back in 2018, Darnold’s NFL career was displaying a worrying downward trend, seeing him slip from starter at the New York Jets to back up in San Francisco. Following a bounce-back season in Minnesota, Darnold joined Seattle as a replacement for the Las Vegas-bound Geno Smith. Forming a near telepathic relationship with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Darnold became the first quarterback in NFL history to post a 14-3 record in back-to-back seasons with two different teams. Almost on the scrapheap in 2023, the 28-year-old now stands on the brink of ultimate glory.

Best Bets for Super Bowl LX

With both teams ending the season with a joint-NFL-Best 14-3 record, the Patriots and Seahawks have earned their place in the Super Bowl. However, while the Seahawks faced a tough schedule, including home and away clashes with NFC West rivals the LA Rams and San Francisco 49ers, the Patriots enjoyed the third easiest schedule of all NFL sides based on strength of opponent. That fact suggests that Seattle’s 14-3 was a good deal better than the Patriots’ 14-3.

In the Patriots’ favour is the fact that their defence appears to be peaking at just the right time. Holding the Chargers to three points in the Wild Card Round, they restricted Denver to seven points in the AFC Championship Game. Even accounting for the fact that the latter game was played in a second-half blizzard against the Broncos ' backup quarterback, that still rates a solid defensive effort. On the downside, the Patriots may need to lean on their defence, as Drake Maye’s form has taken a dip in the postseason. With a shoulder injury possibly playing a role, he hasn’t looked anything like as reliable under pressure.

Seattle’s “Dark Side” defence has continued to terrorise offences in the postseason, with their fearsome four-man rush all but shutting down San Francisco in the Divisional Round. MVP contender Matthew Stafford had more joy in putting 27 points on Seattle in the NFC Championship game, but up stepped Darnold with his best performance of the season to date.

Overall, Seattle holds the edge, with some metrics suggesting the Seahawks are the sixth-best NFL side since 1978. We like Darnold’s experience over Maye’s youth and will take Seattle in the handicap market as our main bet.

For a couple of prop bets, we like Maye to surpass 40.5 rushing yards. The sophomore quarterback may find himself pressured into running the ball, but he does so effectively. He could find room against a Seahawks defence that is good against the run overall but has proven vulnerable to quarterback rushes. Finally, while a blowout feels unlikely, there is just a chance that Seattle really are as good as the stats suggest and that New England really are flattered by their schedule. With that in mind, we like Seattle to win the race to 35 points.

  • Recommended Bet - Drake Maye over 40.5 Rushing Yards @ 11/10 with Spreadex
  • Recommended Bet - Seattle to win the race to 35 points at 5/1 with BetMGM
