What New Bookmakers Do During Safer Gambling Week

Bookmakers across the UK do more during SG Week to promote safer play and give players more visibility on the tools available to them.

They display official SG Week banners on their websites and apps, add responsible gambling pop-ups for first time logins and send dedicated emails highlighting resources like deposit limits, reality checks and self-exclusion options.

Many also partner with charities and share their results after the campaign to show how far the message has reached. It’s one of the only times each year when the whole industry — operators, affiliates and regulators — speak with one voice for the same purpose: player wellbeing.
