Women’s US Open Preview
The women’s event will see a lot of focus on Naomi Osaka. She’s been off the court with health issues recently but has won two of the last three US Open titles. However, the feeling is that she will not be right at the top of her game here and may need time to get back into the swing of things.
Completely opposite to that is the current form of Ashleigh Barty. She won Wimbledon this summer, and has won her last two events now, arriving here at the top of her game and looking for more success. This surface isn’t perfect for her, but with Osaka perhaps not at her best, Barty has a fantastic chance to shine.
