A Simple Explanation to the Super Heinz Bet
A super Heinz is one of the biggest multiple bets you can place, and great if you are looking to cover a large number of selections. With seven selections and 120 bets in total, there is a lot to know about this bet and how it works.
What is a Super Heinz Bet?
A super Heinz is one of the bigger multiples out there and a great way to cover every combination on your seven selections without cutting any out, although that does come at a price. With 120 bets inside a super Heinz, your unit stake will have to be low. Even if you cut your unit stake to 25p, this bet will still cost you £30 in total to place.
This bet involves seven selections and it is due to this why some people use it. The majority of UK horse racing meetings have seven races in them, so this bet is a way to have a selection in every race and combine them all together.
Here is how the 120 bets are broken down:
21 doubles
35 trebles
35 four folds
21 five folds
7 six folds
1 seven selection accumulator
In each different type of bet above, you have enough of them to cover every possible permutation, so for example the 35 trebles cover every potential combination of three in the bet. One thing you will note here is that singles are missing, there are no singles in this bet so if you finish with one winner from seven selections you will not get a return, you need two or more winners to get anything back on the bet.
Why place a Super Heinz Bet?
This bet is a very expensive bet, even for small stakes but it is a great way to give full coverage across seven selections. Even if you only have three winners from seven, because of the full coverage given here you will get four winning bets which are three doubles and one treble.
Just like other multiple bets, the more winners you have, the more winning bets and the bigger your returns will be. There is also a big jump between these, so as above if you have three winners you will have four winning bets while if you have four winners that will jump up to 11.
What is the Difference Between a Super Heinz and a Heinz?
Another multiple bet you can place is a Heinz bet, which is a smaller version of the super Heinz. The Heinz covers six selections instead of seven, and this means a lot fewer bets in it, with just 57 bets in a Heinz.
Everything else is exactly the same, there are no singles in the bet and you get every combination of doubles, trebles, four folds, five folds and a six fold accumulator on all six.

Can You Place an Each Way Super Heinz?
Yes, if you like to bet each way and the sport you are betting on allows it, you can place an each way super Heinz. However, tread with caution when you do this as an each way bet doubles the number of bets, so you have 240 bets to pay for, which will cost a lot even when using a small unit stake.
