Launched in August 2026, BetLegend is one of the newest betting sites to arrive on the UK market. The site is operated by Anakatech Interactive Limited and runs its sportsbook using technology from Altenar, a platform already used by a number of online bookmakers.

BetLegend is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 48789, giving UK players the regulatory protections expected from a licensed British betting site.

With the licensing checked, we took a closer look at the sportsbook, including its betting markets, live features, horse racing coverage, payment options and overall usability.

Our Experience of BetLegend

BetLegend keeps things relatively straightforward. The sportsbook is powered by Altenar and has a modern layout which doesn't take long to get used to, even if you're visiting for the first time.

The main sports are easy to reach, while the All Sports section opens up a much bigger selection. There are more than 30 sports available, covering everything from football, horse racing and tennis to esports, padel and Aussie Rules.

Football is where the sportsbook really opens up. Coverage stretches across leagues and competitions from more than 80 countries, while individual matches can contain a huge number of markets. If simply backing the match result isn't enough, you can dig into goals, cards, corners, player markets and plenty more.

Bet Builder is available when you want to combine multiple selections from the same event, while Cash Out gives you the option of settling selected bets before the event has finished.

Another feature worth mentioning is Early Payout, alongside live streaming on selected events.

Horse racing hasn't been shoved into a corner either. BetLegend has a dedicated Racing section covering horse and greyhound racing, including UK and international meetings. The useful Next to Go feature also makes it easy to see which races are about to start.

The overall experience is solid for such a new betting site. There are a few areas that could be improved, particularly the lack of a dedicated mobile app and 24/7 customer service, but the sportsbook itself already feels well stocked.

Sports & Markets Available

BetLegend offers more than 30 sports, giving it a broader selection than many new bookmakers.

Football naturally takes centre stage, with betting available on competitions from more than 80 countries. Major UK and European leagues sit alongside a surprisingly deep selection of international football.

The market depth is also strong. Premier League fixtures can have a huge selection of betting options, covering match results, goals, handicaps, corners, cards, player markets and Bet Builder selections.

Horse racing and greyhounds have their own Racing area, with UK and international meetings available. Selected races can also be watched through live streaming.

Other sports include tennis, cricket, basketball, golf, American football, darts, snooker, esports, motorsport, padel and Aussie Rules, alongside several more niche options.

For in-play punters, BetLegend has a dedicated live betting section where odds and markets update as events unfold.

BetLegend Mobile Betting

BetLegend does not currently offer a dedicated betting app for either iOS or Android.

That's a slight disappointment for a bookmaker launching in 2026, but it isn't a deal-breaker.

The website has been designed to work across smartphones and tablets, meaning you can register, deposit, browse markets and place bets directly through your mobile browser without downloading anything.

The mobile sportsbook retains the important features from the desktop version, including live betting, Bet Builder and access to the Racing section.

A native BetLegend app would still be a welcome addition in the future.

Security and Licensing

BetLegend is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 48789.

The site operates under Anakatech Interactive Limited, an established UKGC licence holder rather than BetLegend holding a completely separate operating licence in its own name.

That distinction is worth knowing, particularly with new betting sites. What matters for UK players is that the operator behind the site holds the appropriate UKGC licence and the BetLegend domain operates under that licence.

BetLegend also provides a range of safer gambling controls through the account area, including deposit limits, Time Out, self-exclusion, reality checks, loss limits and activity reminders.

Summary

BetLegend may be a newcomer, but the sportsbook doesn't feel short on betting options.

The Altenar-powered platform delivers more than 30 sports, extensive football coverage, horse and greyhound racing, Bet Builder, Cash Out, Early Payout, live betting and live streaming on selected events.

The payment selection is another positive, particularly with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Trustly sitting alongside the usual Visa and Mastercard options.

There is still room for improvement. We'd like to see a dedicated mobile app, 24/7 live chat and perhaps a few more payment options such as PayPal.

More importantly, BetLegend only launched in August 2026. It simply hasn't been around long enough to build the track record of Britain's established bookmakers, so that is something we will continue to monitor.

For now, BetLegend offers a surprisingly comprehensive sportsbook for such a new name, backed by a UKGC-licensed operator and an established sportsbook platform.

Withdrawals

The minimum withdrawal is also £10. Available withdrawal methods can depend on the payment method previously used to fund your account.

Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly and bank payments are supported, although processing times can vary depending on the method selected.
