Although betting on a first goal scorer is the oldest betting market of these, betting on a player to score anytime in the game has quickly become the most popular. With this market your bet is not tied down to just the first or last goal in a game, your player can score at any time in the game, and if he does then you have a winning bet on your hands.
This market is perfect for those who want an interest throughout, as if there is an early goal scored and it is not by your player, you know your bet is down at the start. The prices you will get here are considerably lower than on the first/last scorer market, but you have a full 90-minute bet, covering every goal in the game.
To Score Two / To Score a Hat Trick
One of the latest markets to be introduced has been the creation of markets where you bet on a player to score multiple goals in the game. These are anytime scorer bets, so it doesn’t matter which goals your player scores.
You can bet on a player to score twice in the game, or if you really fancy them for success and want a bet at a bigger price, you can bet on them to score three times in the game, which is a hat trick.
