Football Betting Tips – 10th, 11th & 12th March 2018

Even though Manchester City look certain to win the Premier League, there is still a relegation battle that is just starting to hot up. We make our bets on this weekend’s best fixtures.

Manchester United v Liverpool

This battle for second place will depend mostly on Jose Mourinho’s tactics. The Portuguese manager has the ability to ‘park the bus’, and if he decides to do this, it could be a dull affair. When you consider that the last five of these hotly-contested fixtures have finished all square, the draw looks the best bet. United have only conceded once in their last five home games too so we’re backing the match to finish with under 2.5 goals.

Tip: Under 2.5 goals

Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Two of the Premier League’s out of form teams meet this weekend. Chelsea are increasingly losing their battle to finish in fourth place, while Palace find themselves sitting in the relegation zone. Roy Hodgson’s side have one of the worst records away from home, picking up just 10 points from 14 games. However, they’ve scored in their past six matches on the road. Due to Chelsea’s attacking options, we’re going to suggest that both teams will have the ability to score.

Tip: Both teams to score

Arsenal v Watford

Arsenal’s impressive 2-0 victory away to AC Milan in the Europa League on Thursday may have given Arsene Wenger some breathing space. The Gunners have lost four of their past five games, but, despite this, they’ve got a decent record at the Emirates. Meanwhile, Watford have lost six of their last seven away from Vicarage Road. We’re backing Arsenal to get back to winning ways in the league with a victory.

Tip: Arsenal win

Bournemouth v Tottenham

The Cherries have enjoyed a resurgent run of form that has seen them lose just one of their past 10 league fixtures. At the Vitality Stadium, they have won three of their last five games, and it seems they have improved in the attacking department, scoring at least two goals in each of those matches. Tottenham will have to get over the disappointment of being knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus midweek. However, they have only kept one clean sheet in their last six matches away from Wembley. We fancy both teams to score.

Tip: Both teams to score

Stoke City v Manchester City

There’s no doubt that Manchester City have been on a completely different level to the rest of the Premier League this season. Just six points dropped in 29 games tells its own story. Stoke, meanwhile, have been battling hard to escape relegation, and have only lost once in their last six games. Nonetheless, this is City we’re talking about and it’s very difficult to back against them this campaign. We like the look of Pep Guardiola’s men to win to nil.

Tip: Manchester City to win to nil
